Wonder if he Kelly is thinking to do Co-DCs with White & Jones - that way Jones gets a more time to over see the DBs with Cooks, and we have someone who actually has been a DC.

one very plausible reason for the delay...Elko was target #1. When he got the Duke job, time to move to 1A or whatever the list may have looked like.

Jones and White are both currently defensive coordinators. Not sure your point.
