Chad Morris got a p5 job. No reason norvell should be at Memphis still. Except for previously mentioned background issues.

Here we go per rittenberg

#Louisville's coaching search has gone a little quiet, according to industry sources. Some wondering who else could enter the mix besides Scott Satterfield and Neal Brown. Keep an eye on #Memphis' Mike Norvell if his team keeps this up.

Louisville has shown they don’t care about off the field issues and he is a good coach who appears now to keep out of troubke

But what are the issues? Just seems to be unverified innuendo.

Allegedly, gambling and drinking issues. A lot like Sark after dark. It's why he was on Ole Miss, Arkansas and Tennessee's lists last year but was almost immediately taken off

But that’s it - “allegedly.” He’s a good coach. Hope he gets a big job.

I’m assuming his are a little worse than normal because he went from being the layup hire that we were going to make to they wouldn’t allow him to cross state lines to interview. Whatever he did became toxic in our search real fast.

He is a good coach I agree. But it's very telling he didn't get anything last year and his name hasn't popped up much this year either.

Those pics of him in college with corn rows are enough to fail any background check.
