Elko was quietly the best hire of the entire offseason IMO. He was masterful this year and did for Aggy what they expected Chavis’ fat worthless arse to do

They are also looking at Many Diaz. I really hope A&M raises his pay to keep him. I know he won't be here much longer but I'd like to have him for at least one more year.

Christian Harris’ brother was recruited by Elko to Wake Forest and Elko is close to their family since then. Rumor is Elko told the family he is leaving which led to the flip to Bama.

Harris flipped a couple of weeks ago, and the Temple job was not open at the time.
No way does the Christian Harris flip and Elko to Temple have any connection, unless Elko was leaving A&M regardless and fell into a HC job.

agree, what he did with that defense was remarkable... i put him right there with Aranda.. and i knew last year when they hired him i was like "frick" that aint good... he was the guy i mentioned when Aranda to TAMU surfaced, i was thinking we wouldnt miss a beat hiring that guy... His scheme at Notre Dame is what beat us in that bowl... I hope he takes that temple job... then maybe we can hire him after O leaves...
