Michigan state is having a good season so far. A win Saturday will be huge for them.

Mel is the next Saban, IMO. LSU better snatch him up. I trust William Tate will get the job done.

Mels one of my top fallback options. Way ahead of Napier.
Mel would be the most qualified coach we’ve had in terms of expertise on one entire side of the ball, plus experience as a head coach at a major program since…. Saban.
If you exclude Saban, you could go back to Arnsparger.

Tucker is a mediocrity, as many people on this board have demonstrated with indisputable historical facts.
One improbable win against UM doesn't change the fact that he has had two losing seasons as a HC and was subpar as an NFL DC.

I think Tucker has a lot of potential but the well was poisoned with him on this board when it was suggested Tate wanted to hire him just to have a minority coach.
