Miami has a plan. A billionaire family is willing to build them a stadium in Coral Gables.

Miami reminds me of Michigan State. Simply put, I think a lot of us will have to get accustomed to things changing. Yes, Miami neglected its football program for nearly 20 years but it appears those days are over. All of this coming out with Cristobal taking over is no coincidence.

That would be a game changer for them. They would be a real football program going forward.

This should have happened years ago

Sounds nice but I'll believe that when they break ground

That’s the only solution IMO

Them playing at a half empty pro stadium looks so bad

Get them a very nice 50-60k on campus stadium.

50K person stadium on-campus would be perfect.

Yeah Cristobal coming in indicates they've made some new commitments to revitalizing the program.

Mr. Ruiz should spend that money on roads and education.

Miami fully died when they tore down the Orange Bowl. A new one is a must. There isn’t much room near campus, and the roads are tight, so i’d be curious to know what they come up with

Interesting tidbit about the billionaire donor

Just as long as Cristobal can avoid playing Utah.

People say they're tired of Bama should root for USC and Miami to rise back to power. A program like Bama that relies heavily on out-of-state recruits suffers when those programs are up.

I imagine we will take a step back once Saban retires but until then we will be fine and will be able to cherry pick the country.

The U fully backing football to the degree it seems they are is scary...If they hire Mario Cristobal and build an on campus stadium, nobody is ever going into the 305 and stealing guys they want again.

You have to read the article, they have to jump through alot of hoops to even get to building a stadium plus coral gables already told them no once. That article is alot of fluff and some people trying to give miami some air time

100%. Bryce Young would be at USC if they weren’t such a dumpster fire. Instead schools like bama and Ohio state have run wild in so cal and south fla. hopefully usc and Miami getting their acts together will bring balance back to college football.
