Bruh. No. Just no.
Just because that’s what Josh Boyer ran exclusively, doesn’t mean the personnel is built for it. He would always leave the corners on an island and even Xavien Howard struggled with it because it was so predictable. Josh Allen couldn’t wait to play this defense.
When you have Jaelen Phillips, Brad Chubb and Christian Wilkins in the front, you should be able to generate pressure without having to blitz EVERY play, and also play more zone and different coverages.
Vic Fangio plays some cover 2 shell as well, Javon Holland should become a household name under his scheme.
