Wonder if Woodward is positioning himself to be chancellor or some shite. I have a hard time seeing him being outright fired, he’s just so damn connected.

If you guys are about to make those kinds of Sr leadership changes at your university it makes no sense to fire Kelly now unless you have a top 5 level coach locked up to replace him.
Ask Auburn how that works out
We need to go through the process we took when we hired Saban and Miles. Just interview guys who have experience but are at programs that it's hard to win big. Find a good fit with a coach with a good plan and go from there.
Trying to hire a top coach and failing leads to overreactions like hiring Orgeron, Freeze, Kelly, etc.
