I would take Matt Campbell over Riley, Kiffin or Aranda. His teams are so well prepared and really good on both sides of the ball.,

You aren’t Scott Woodward by any chance huh?

I would go with a coach that actually cares about championships

And he couldn’t recruit himself out of a wet paper bag..

He does more with less. If he had Riley's OU talent he'd have had equal or better results. And his Iowa State teams have some toughness.

Nick Saban couldn't recruit kids to Ames, Iowa.

I would take Matt Campbell over all of those except Riley.
Riley is a proven high level recruiter.
Riley is a proven QB developer.
Those are the two most important components to sustained success in college.
I do think it’s interesting though that Iowa state usually churns out significantly better defenses than Oklahoma despite less talent and the same conference, which calls into question some of the usual excuses we make for Riley.

Thankfully you aren’t the LSU AD.

5 losses at Iowa State is more impressive than losing to Baylor at OU.

Believe it or not, Iowa State is extremely talented this year
Hall is a stud. Hutchinson, Kolar, the DE. Those guys are all first-team all conference types.
Then you have a three year starter in Purdy at QB
Iowa State has underachieved this year.

He's my 2nd choice after Riley. Hope he's Woodward's too. Because if not were looking at Mark Stoops.

Agree. Campbell my first choice. He’s just a better coach than the other guys.
He’s at a smaller, non football school, and has regularly had his team playing as good if not better than the big guys.
Riley took over a power house.
You need guys who can coach. Campbell has taken a small, untalented program, and made them nationally relevant nearly every year. 3x coach of the year (in the same conference as Riley).
The qb regularly throws for 300 and running back runs for 100. Just a balanced solid coach.
