Believe it. He's been wanting to come back to Arkansas since he left in 06.

His old high school job wasn't open?

Why would the guy want to return home? I mean nobody wants to go back where they are from.
To be fair, Mosquito Tech (I can call it what I want, one of my degrees is from there) is not his home. His home is on the other side of the state, about as far away in every regard as two places can be within the same state.
He played at the U of A, and then went south and east in pursuit of a coaching career. This is a stepping stone, not a destination.

I went to that damn state park. Started off the morning figuring out what color I would want all seven of myu Ferrari's to be in. After spending the better part of five brutal hours in august Arkansas sunshine I left with fire ant bites, mud all over me and the worse case of the shits I have ever had

I guess the sad reality all of this is that:
Arky State > Vandy
Arky State > Vandy

It actually allows him to ease into a HC position without a huge spotlight and high expectations. It allows him to learn the ropes, make some mistakes, and learn to be a HC. Not a bad place to cut his teeth really.

There is a lot of stupid up in here tonight. Who knew such a terrible OC getting a HC job would create such a stir. i'm glad he is getting a chance to be a HC, and I'm eager to see what he can do.

So you say it like a thousand thousand? Instead of saying one million

Not really, we'll probably get two different OC's. I think people would be more willing to work with Chiz tho.

I think it's a solid stepping stone fwiw. He will win there and get a solid HC job without tarnishing his resume at a lower level school in a tough conference.

I had previously written 600k and 800k...figured I'd stick with the theme for aubie's sake.

Just from a personnel standpoint, there is no reason they shouldn't contend for another Sun Belt title next year-- and the offense is full of veteran starters. It would be relatively easy for him to do very well right off the bat.
