He didn’t come before Bc of his ties to the Midwest. If ND hires Fickell, he stays at ND and there’s a likely hood he’ll end up at cincy if fickell ends up anywhere else.

I think he didn't come because he probably thought Orgeron was a clown that might get shite canned.

He didn’t want to come to a situation where the HC had one foot out of the door and another on a banana peel. ND made him a strong arse offer and honestly, it worked out better for Freeman

Doesn’t seem like Cincy has missed a beat since he left. We sure it wasn’t Fickell’s defense? Honest question. I’m not familiar with how much ND’s defense improved this year.
