Bam. Can we please stop quoting this guy?

Does people really think that Saban is worried about money and does people really think that Saban doesn't like the chalange of playing in a stronger conference SEC Vs What the Big 12 that is really the little 10 and does anybody think that Saban would finish his career at Alabama with a loss to Auburn in a big game like that was and does anyone think Saban doesn't want to go down in history and finish with a better title record than Bear Bryant and does anyone not know that now with the 4 game playoff system next year that he want be able to have his team in it every year and does anyone think that Saban don't like the best recruiting class in that he has ever put together and he and Ms.Terry are still out there everyday still recruiting and everybody all says he said he want leaving LSU and did and he wasn't leaving Miami and did,so he could still leave Alabama too after saying he's not but at the end of the day their is no reason to hate on him if he leaves Alabama because does anyone know that at the end of the day he and his wife are grown people and humans and have every right to change their mind at any time weather it be her that changed her mind or him that changed his mind because they are human and people change their minds about things all the time yes you too ... After all everybody would be hated on him if he said I'm leaving and messed up which ever team he were coaching at even if he did that when he was at LSU then that would be the reason they would be hating him and same thing would happen at Alabama some fans would hate cause he messed their recruiting up or the people would say how disrespectful saying your leaving Alabama and taking the Texas job is disrespecting the coach at Texas,so people when you sit and judge another man or woman for changing their mind think about that the next time you change your mind ... I hope he stays but I'm not gonna hate on him or her if they change their mind today or ever, sooner or later he will step down he can't coach forever .... and Good Luck to AJ McCarron on your future...
It is a tale. Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing

Well this thread will be at 400 pages today and not a damn thing has happened. O/U has to be at least 1500 pages before the crash
Thread is ever so slightly starting to lose some steam.
Saban needs to get on with the business of ripping some fan base's collective heart out. I don't think I can hang on through the Christmas season with this.

I'm told today that the official announcement that Mack will be retiring will take place on Saturday during a press conference. My source tells me that there will probably be leaks during the banquet but he doesn't expect any kind of announcement because according to Mack this is supposed to be about the kids. Could the time line move up or back, sure, but he's gone. Saturday seems most likely at this point.
On Nick Saban, a person close to the Alabama athletic department tells me that the Bama higher-ups are pretty much resigned to the fact that Nick Saban is Texas bound. Look for the total compensation package combined with a new challenge and a change of scenery for both Nick and Terry being the deciding factors that carry the day.
On the Texas side of things, my best sources say all of this from Mack's retirement to Saban's announcement was supposed to be on a precise time-line. The timeline was messed up by a leak from the athletic department. More on that later...
One interesting story from two separate sources I don't typically use...word is Red McCombs hosted Nick Saban last night. As we've been reporting for weeks, Red has been integral in putting together a compensation package to entice Saban to Texas. I'm guessing Red picked up the tab too. Again, that's not from sources we typically use. I'm passing along because they corroborated and the two sources are independent of each other.
My speculation...I would think Saban would announce early next week if this is indeed a done deal. I also suspect Saban to Texas would result in possibly three 5 star caliber players from the 2014 class to sign with Texas and a handful of 5 stars in the 2015 class as well. The Big Cigars believe a Saban hire would effectively hault if not reverse the Aggies' momentum in the state immediately.
One other note, Eric is working on a story about a possible QB transfer to Texas. This player is not Jacob Coker or Baker Mayfield but he's pro-style QB. We expect his release to be granted today.
just posting this so its on this page

Any Alabama fan that says they know Saban, is full of shite..
The only fans who fully understand Saban:
1. Michigan State fans
2. LSU fans
3. Miami fans
I'll let you guess why..
