It sucks that we're the only fanbase with obnoxious fans.
Didn't say obnoxious... just DUMB and socially awkward.
And ftr, I got bashed earlier in this thread for saying that I hated 75% of LSU fans

They haven't found bigfoot yet, but that doesn't stop the Discovery channel shows.
This Saban speculation can become a cottage industry

Still not a single legitimate news source to suggest he's leaving. Plenty to suggest he's staying.

Or... It could be a pissing match/message sent to Bill Battle. As stated previously in this MASSIVE thread, Saban and Mal were friends and Mal gave him anything he wanted. Bill Battle has come in and tried to emphasize that Saban is an employee.
Is Bill Battle a moron or not? That's what it comes down to
Is Battle really rustling Saban's feathers like that? Is his ego that big or are there other underlying issues?

I've met a lot of dumb Tiger fans, but I know that has nothing to do with them being Tiger fans. Usually people are dumb before they become fans.

Trust me - PBJ outright owns his plane. I've flown on it a handful of times. His plane is the same model as the UA plane, giving our pilots the ability to fly his plane if the UA plane is down for maintenance.
Could ecplain why Saban chartered yesterday. The pilots were in Austin.

The dude has a Sistine chapel tattooed on his chest. Not a reliable source.

Nothing against you guys. You run a great program and most of your fans are a class act (at least the ones that actually graduated from the school), but I don't see this as a win for you guys either way. Even if he stays, the bloom is off the rose.
I care nothing about the rose. College football and coaching have become a major business. In by gone eras it may have been more about the love of the school (see Bear Bryant and countless other examples of guys returning to their alma maters), but now it's just about finding a guy who can make your program the envy of all others, and Saban has become the go to CEO of college football. The ones who don't think of it as a business would probably go more religious and call him a football Jesus, but the fact is his process turns programs into the efficient winning machines.

CNS is currently working under a contract to the University of Alabama. Seems like IF, hypothetically, one has entered into any kind of agreements with some other employer or representatives of that employer, would be a violation of one's contract IF there has been more than talk and allegedly compensation has been exchanged?
You could have tortuous. malicious or intentional interference with a contract claims in all this no doubt. But UT has sovereign immunity (Mike Leach vs Texas Tech) like all Texas schools but you could sue the boosters, but nobody ever does because this crap happens all the time and then you would open yourself up to discovery, depositions, etc from your employees and boosters as well.
So there is a potential claim but they will not do anything on it but just take the buyout from UT if they get him.

We brought him in as a hired gun. He was never supposed to be here this long. I certainly didn't expect him to. This is all gravy now.
The fact that people think we'll be offended because he leveraged a pay raise is so ridiculous I don't even know what to say
