40% upfront.
No one can match that.

If there aren't 20,000 trailers in the state worth at least 7,000 dollars, I'm pretty fricking worried.
Look at me, I can do math! Who would have thought.
Yeah but they dont own all those trailers out right and a used trailer is almost worthless. You ever seen those freaking purchase agreements 12%-15% annually for 60k for a double wide.
No I am only counting the shite in the trailers that can be liquidated quickly. Now if you could ramp up meth production......

Maybe Saban invested in all of the trailers too...

Believe it or not, almost all the manufacturers (Southern Energy, Cavalier, Clayton) many of which actually are located in bama are owned by Berthsire Hathaway or Warren Buffett. He bought them all up after Katrina.

G'nite CC board. Enjoyed spending the last 43+ hours checking in here while pulling my weekly all-nighter, but it's time to hit the hay. Posting here so I'll know where to pick up the thread this afternoon. Keep those updates coming.

Throwing money at Jimbo would be an option too. But we'd have to wait until after the BCS game. I do think Dabo would be on a short list, but as a courtesy.
The Bama name will always be a lure for big names. The issue is timing. Who the hell in their right mind wants to follow Saban? That is an almost impossible situation. No established coach wants to live in that shadow.
To me, Smart is in the best position because of continuity. He is the safe choice, and with Bama's current situation, he'd have to really suck to screw it up. If he doesn't do well enough, 2 or 3 years down the road is enough time to distance the next, bigger name guy a bit from Saban's shadow.
Whether Saban leaves now, or waits a few years and retires at Bama, I could definitely see Smart being his initial successor.

I agree, I think the only thing that would hold him back from that is his lack of HC experience. Even though he's been a part of "The Process" so long it probably wouldn't matter that much.
