Source made reference to Brown's desire to chase Royal's all-time wins mark at UT. He's 9 behind. Says Brown would feel validated by that.

this could take years.

It's an uncanny resemblance.

Saban + Mack = Mora

But what does it mean?

If Mack utilized the recruiting grounds of Texas and coached half arse decent, he would've broke that record last year or definitely this year.
With Mack saying that, I would fire his arse on the spot for putting his own wishes ahead of a struggling UT program. Mack is no different than Bowden and Paterno in regards to putting their own goals ahead of what's best for the program.

(Excluding what Paterno did to cover Sandusky)

There once was a coach named Nick
Whose agent was very slick
Out for recruitment he goes
For what school? Who knows?
And all the gumps in bama felt sick

Is there anything that needs to be added to the OP. I'm headed to NOLA in a few minutes.

Thats chump change compared to what they are talking about throwing to Saban. So if things are truly set to go and they have offered Saban and he has agree that when Brown is out of the picture, he will accept. Why the frick would Texas risk losing Saban over this bullshite instead of just firing Brown immediately?

I can almost guarantee you they fired him. They're giving him the opportunity to make it look like he is retiring/resigning so save him some embarrassment. Mack has an enormous ego.

Well if half of this stuff is true then we already know Texas is not very good at luring a coach
