Jimmy Sexton, the Memphis-based agent to coaching stars such as Nick Saban and numerous NFL players, such as Tim Tebow, is changing affiliations. Sexton said he's reached an agreement in principle to join Creative Artists Agency, a Los Angeles-based group with roots in the entertainment industry. His base of operations will remain in Memphis.

Saban did so much for the school while he was at LSU too.

He's just awesome.

I'd suggest 104.9 FM The Horn in Austin for Sports Radio Talk.

Crushing Mack for saying he "killing himself" staying at the Four Seasons recruiting.

Saban is a die hard liberal. Austin will fit him better than Tuscaloosa.

Can we confirm that Cap is plowing Mrs. Terry, and can we speculate on the position? I'm guessing reverse cowgirl so he doesn't have to look at her C-section scar.

And if he had already tried the NFL before going to LSU, he'd still be at LSU

Take it FWIW but my best friend is very involved with the L.A. Sports and Entertainment Comission and he has been told that Saban and Texas have been working on a contract since last week. He hears they are VERY close right now.

Any way of proving that?

some more interesting news coming out even after chip's report. trying to confirm something with a buddie of mine. But, here are a few details:

They made a very late push for Saban yesterday. Has till today to decide. Then a search committee will be formed asap. Hearing the AD favors the search committee and would rather go that route.

Another big fish has come into the picture.

Retirement announcement is on Thursday.

Of course, that's just what I saw from a text this morning at 5 am.

But thats a neg in that unrealistic expectations now permeate Bama. That's what Terry referred to in her interview.

Good post but define "unrealistic expectations" for me. That term was a favorite among rivals when Alabama was criticized for daring to expect better than a 26-23 record and firing Shula. We won 3 titles in 4 years, is it unrealistic to think we should be in the hunt for a national title most of the time or not?

I think they prefer the term "finance majors" or "UT students"
