OP is the only one who seems to pay attention. Go read their boards, you wouldn't know OU was even a rival. All about daddy A&M and the SEC.

Go look at who they were pulling for last year in the Cotton Bowl.

That will tell you all you need to know.

The Red River Rivalry is currently the Third Saturday of October to Alabama fans. Not for the same reasons but it's simply outclassed in importance to the Ironbowl, which is Texas A&M to Texas fans.

A win in the RRR means not a whole hell of a lot regarding job security. Again, look at this last week.

If Bama went 1-11 Saban would be fired and you're idiotic if you think any different

or he'd 'step down'

They're too arrogant to admit it.

And I'm cool with that because that attitude from them got us here

Texas/OU is a bigger rivalry to me than Texas/A&M..

But that's probably just because recently it was a big pretty game with national title implications. Much like LSU/Alabama.

Well you know aTm mentions Texas by name in the fight song so of course ut would be pissed. But I have always thought the big rivalry was OU due to it being publicized more.

Texas Fight does? I thought it just said A&M? While you guys say Texas University.

At least 13-0 can become Bevo

That's our name

Which is what they used to call themselves. Just like their mascot used to be called "Varsity," hence, "Saw Varsity's Horns Off."

And the entire reason "Texas Fight" exists is to spite an old Aggie song called "Farmers Fight." They set it to the tune of "Taps" and played it to an upbeat tempo to mock the somber TAMC song.
