LSU’s next coach is going to be Dave Aranda

-SW found out weeks ago that Riley wasn’t interested and pivoted
-Aranda has made a solid leap this year as a head coach
-The recruits getting offers recently also have Baylor offers
-WBRZ reported the coach was going to be named today based on a catering order that was canceled. If Oklahomo wins last night, Baylor is out and Aranda can leave
-regional 247 guy I know (not Sonny/Shea) seems to think, based on his sources, that Aranda was signed sealed delivered last week. He could be full of shite like all the other insiders on this board too
-Aranda makes the most sense out of the remaining targets. He is the least tied to his program like a Kelly, Dabo, Saban of the big names that were never interested, and has good relationships and familiarity with the University compared to guys like Kiffen/Cristobal. Fickell was never coming.
Here’s to Aranda being named next Sunday morning.

We can only hope. Only question is does Aranda want to come back? I feel like he may have been a little pissed when he left between O making those comments about him and possibly feeling a bit disrespected by the university. He deserved more credit than he received at LSU and showed a lot of loyalty through 2 shite coaches between Miles/Orgeron. I'd love to have Dave back I think he'd have us in a championship in 4 years. The people who say he can't recruit don't know shite. Dave can recruit. He may not be a top 5 elite recruiter but he can recruit. As long as he makes the right hires that should be no problem.
