O as HC, Aranda as DC plus a top OC would be the best scenario at the best price.
why are you pro O guys so quick to run off Ensminger since he's been the playcaller during all of this offensive success? under him, they've set records, no?

and since you guys don't think LSU has money...

How long have you guys been LSU fans?

Since 1990...

So I guess I was a baby during Hallman, more into it during DiNardo, and grew up with Saban and Miles.

Since 83. Btw these aren't The the days of Cusimono, Jack Andonie, and Segura era of Edwards guys playing politics with the LSU football program. They made Joe Dean into a puppet. Marty Broussard was also heavily involved in the BS. LSU's TAF office was a hole In the pmac. Our committed assets to the program were a joke. Broadhead wanted to change things and he got axe. Today. Ballard, Armentor, Perry, Jacobs, McCollister, and Ronald Anderson know the value of the LSU football program and the profit center it is for the LSU system. the money ?? is there for a big splash hire. And LSU pays a million dollars more to cordinators than most power 5 schools. and you cited the obvious failures of hiring a coach On the cheep. The BOS knows this hire has to be a home run. and fwiw the BOS and the AD are Solidly unified on hiring Fisher. Enough of the LSU of the 80-90s bs. This is the same BOS that was leaning to fire Les in 09. They don't tolerate bs.

Since I was in my Momma's womb LOL! That would be Spring of 1970. I was chitting in my diapers or barely out of the play pen when Bert Jones and Cassnova was at LSU. Remember the tail end of Cholly Mac, Stovall, Arnie and the rest of the 80's and saw the destruction of our program in late 80's early 90's due to some of the most stupidest decisions a program can make. Yeah I have seen it full circle.

Cusimono was the worst of the worst of the old guard D-bags. They were a bunch of corrupt political hacks and could care less about the long term benefit of LSU football. LSU deserved what it got by enabling those types and doing nothing to stop the bleeding until it got too bad. Today's scene is much more conducive to providing a positive environment for the program to succeed.

Yep. The old guard was horrific along with Bud Davis as LSU's Chancellor. It was a EWE greasy Louisiana mafia politics gone wild. Didn't matter to them as long as 77,000 drunk coonasses packed TS. LSU deserved what it got. Today most of these members are respected business leaders/ and Lafayette's
Best attorney.

You dont buyout Les Miles for 10 million or whatever to go cheap on the next hire. In fact, just starting this process has already put LSU past the cheap label.
