LSU should have given LK their own ultimatum of until sunset for a decision

LSU should have gave their own ultimatum…u have until end of the day to accept our offer or we r moving on
Can’t offer to make someone the highest paid coach with all the bells and whistles and let them dick u around
Guy knows exactly what he wants to do
The hard part for me to understand is fam members visiting gators and tigers for a day.. that’s baffling
Would be an all time troll to have fam fly out to 2 spots to increase leverage
Time to move on..this prick ain’t going anywhere

It's not baffling if you assume he doesn't know what he wants to do and is making sure his family would be ok with his decision regardless of what it is.

Why is everyone in such a rush to hire a coach?
There is no need to make a rash long-term, program altering hire to save one early signing period recruiting class, when 50% of those recruits will end up just transferring out of the program, anyway.
On January 12, 2024, after the retirement of Nick Saban, DeBoer accepted an offer to become the next head coach at the University of Alabama.
If you are a top destination program, it doesn't matter when you make the hire.
There is no need to make a rash long-term, program altering hire to save one early signing period recruiting class, when 50% of those recruits will end up just transferring out of the program, anyway.
