I actually agree. If we were running the same base as Aranda I would agree to part ways, but he's trying to implement a different base with players that were not recruited or coached into it, and had missed essentially the entire spring, summer, and fall camps.

This performance is not acceptable at LSU in a normal year, but this is not a normal year.

If we weren't going to continue to pay him millions for the next half decade, I would say he's getting shafted.

Had issues???

LSU D ranks 126th in Passing D - 9.7 yds per att
LSU D ranks 97th in scoring D - 34.9 pts game
LSU D ranks 124th in Total D - 7.26 yds per play
LSU D ranks 116th in long scrimmage plays.
LSU D ranks 113th in long passing plays
LSU D ranks 71st in rush D - 169 yds per game

What about those numbers say he deserved another year?

I don’t really care what players were brought in. If they aren’t coached, you’re gonna get burned.

Well you also think Johnny Jones is a good coach so

The D can have an off year and the coach doesn’t necessarily need to be canned but Bo’s game plans were unforgivably stupid and for that he deserves to go

I love when posters speak in absolutes. “Pelini deserves to be back and he will be.” Always bites em in the arse.

WTF man, Pellini brought the worst defense in LSU history. If you give him another year then it may improve a bit but he seems to be unable to stop or even slow down good, modern, spread type offenses. I know he was pretty fair in his last stint but with the changes to offenses over the past 5-10 years he doesn't have a clue. He needs to go now, not given time to completely frick it up and destroy defensive recruiting.

A little surprised at Busch, but whether he stays or goes, the guy should get credit for recommending the greatest quarterback in LSU history which led to the greatest college season of all time, according to coach O Busch told him Burrow was looking for a place to transfer to and the rest is history

Pelini and LSU reached a settlement so not sure how much less it is compared to buyout

The car had engine problems but we should drive it for another year to see if it can make it.
