Makes sense b/c he is beating Miami
They look like they are going to lose to Miami.
Fedora and Kingsbury would be great hires if the goal was to get more women in the stadium.

I agree fedora is a good one

I don't know why Fedora gets hated on. The dude is no joke. He was legit pulling in 4 star recruits at a CUSA program. I remember he even signed a blue chip 5 star receiver there. He brought USM to the pinnacle of their program. Look at the kind of talent he's getting at UNC, they were in playoff contention last season. fricking UNC!
I think he would be a solid hire. He's a good coach and can flat out recruit. If LSU can get Herman, by all means they should. If that doesn't fall through, Larry Fedora should certainly get an interview. Would be better than damn Petrino and PJ Fleck just doesn't seem to fit.

Unc did not beat one team that finished in the top 25 last year. Check it out. In fact the lost to the worst South Carolina team in years. Uga beat their arse this year.
He left the southern miss program in shambles. Simple facts.

that is totally false. They hired Ellis who had no idea what the frick he was doing as HC

He should get an interview simply because of those biceps.

What is up with the love affair with Tom Herman? He is vastly unproven compared to Larry Fedora. Not to mention his team's have looked like shite the last 2 weeks.
I agree with the OP.

Fedora?
Simply....no.
No one seems to be able to give an answer as to why not. They just say "no"
He is a more proven head coach than Tom Herman.

Man a lot of folks don't think for themselves and let the media dictate their opinions to them. Fedora has a far superior resume than Herman's at this point in their careers.

Because they don't have a reason other than his name is not Tom Herman or Jimbo Fisher. Anybody that knows anything about him agrees he is a solid candidate and would be a good hire.
Personally I think his offense with the athletes Louisiana produces annually would become must see tv.

I don't think he's a bad coach. I've come a long way on Fedora actually. I don't like that his teams notoriously play 0 defense and he doesn't really even seem to worry about that side of the ball.
I don't like that his best seasons came built on wins vs scrub teams.
He's having a really good season this year. Last week not-withstanding, but i give him a bit of a pass because they were playing in a damn hurricane and the conditions favored his opponent by a lot.
I just think he's a 2nd tier candidate and frankly would rather LSU take a shot on someone younger if it comes to names like Fedora.

Yeah, they won a combined 1 game the two years after he left with Two different coaches. That's a sign of poor recruiting. But I don't know anything.
Let's see if Miami and fsu finish in top 25. Uga won't.

Down vote this into oblivion

I'm fully aware of what happened after Fedora left and he had very little to do with it.
