No, he'll be an analyst. The coaching spots allocated to the offense have been filled. O doesn't want to take away from the defensive staff to that extent.

It would work numbers-wise, but I mean, come on, we're going to have 6 offensive coaches and just 3 defensive coaches? That doesn't seem very smart, considering our defensive issues this year. Also, how attractive will the job be to Freeman if he has to work with a short staff.
I think the answer is someone (Faulk, Callaway, Joseph) are going to be out.

Sounds like it. I just don’t see Callaway sitting underneath these two as an analyst. He certainly doesn’t deserve to. I guess we’ll see

And it goes way beyond just coaching a position. You to have bodies on game day, etc.
We already had a 5-4 split. You think a 6/3 split would work?

Raymond was just fine as the secondary coach prior to Bush coming in. And Freeman (if he is you DC) has coached LB's his entire career. Including while serving as DC now.
You could have
Raymond - Secondary
Freeman - DC/LB
DL coach
Guys like Faulk and Joseph aren't there because of their "coaching" ability. They are there because of their recruiting ability
