Assuming an absence of news, when will you lose confidence?
I don't have confidence in anything when it comes to coaching searches / hires. I have seen so many of these at LSU and other SEC schools and one thing is nearly always 100% for sure. Don't count on anything. Often the littlest things can derail or push a hire over the finish line. Until there is a press conference I am not believing anything.

No one will know anything for sure until Saturday. If he chooses to come to LSU, he will be announced next Monday most likely.
