Thanks for bringing the info. Interesting Frank didn't tell them exactly who it was. Any word on DC change?

Fwiw, Mike Elston was offered the DL position by BK when he took the LSU job and Elston declined for family reasons. Not sure what those reasons were and if they are still in place

quote:

When Brian Kelly left Notre Dame for LSU, Elston said a “family decision” led him to stay.

“It will always be a family decision for me. It’s not about money,” he said at the time. “... It’s a family decision, and that’s why I’ve always really kind of turned down opportunities for myself.”

Hopefully, a positive omen that there will indeed be a DC change.

Grinch thanks again for the info. Helps with why the wait is taking so long. Next make them spill who exactly it is and who the next DC will be

It def ain't bamas dl coach and it def isn't Washington's dl coach so that would leave 2 options....either its bo davis or Mike elston. Pick 1 but can't go wrong with either

Are they Michigan?

They may know that Harbaugh is gone after the season.

Coach Mike Elston would be a home run hire… Great fit for coach Kelly’s staff.

I'm in the minority here, but I think it means we're retaining house and just switching out the problematic position coaches.

I think they will try and go this route at first as well.

I think they bring in Jesse Minter and Elston
Corey rumors are still flying around.

Haha hoping but I also don’t think it’s a longshot

Harbaugh hasn’t signed any of the extensions they keep talking about
Moore hasn’t been talked about in any coaching searches
I think there is a reason for that

Possibly.

I honestly don't think it's going to be minter.

And Elston could be a possibility but doesn't seem like he wants to move down south.

My guess is henderson.

Yep. Any of those 3 would be outstanding.
