Pretty sure no one else would have posted this.

And I agree, Buffalo will now be a force.

I hope they have 5-4 years to implement his read and react defense.

was a graduate assistant at Pitt the year I was born. The last time he coached on a winning FBS team was 1994.

In 5 years, Buffalo will have one of the best defenses in college football. No football program has kept poor Lou long enough for him to implement his brilliant, complex defensive scheme. Have a feeling Buffalo will, watch out for 2017!

might help him. from what i witnessed, players would be much better off if he just fell asleep and let me just do their own thing.

Interesting note... Lou Tepper, Gerry Dinardo, and Les Miles all served on the same coaching staff at Colorado.

Not trying to sound like a Tepper apologist, but he was the recruiter of James & Faulk. I knew some folks close to the program back then, and most if not all placed the blame for the defensive failures of the Tepper years squarely on the shoulders of...Dinardo. Apparently, Gerry D was fond of watching film of Colorado in the 1980's and would use that as "source" material for gameplanning. I seem to remember someone stating that Dinardo was particularly fond of the 1985 season. He would watch film, diagram the game plan, and then adjust it to whoever LSU was playing that week. In other words, if it worked against Nebraska in 1985, it would definitly work against Alabama in 1998.
Dinardo going insane may have ruined some careers back then.
