I'm not gonna link or screen cap a site I'm a member of, but for FSU football what site would probably be at the top

I think he is a better coach than O, but I also think he overrated. He took advantage of a weak ACC and a couple of great recruiting classes. He'll be an upgrade over Sumlin but he's not going to be dominating the SEC west. At this point though probably the best left out there. Aggies are not going to risk an up and comer on their program.

My gut feel is Jimbo has made the decision but really wants to coach this last game so he can leave having secured the bowl berth and without abandoning his seniors and team. It's harder and harder to do that now though in the 24 hour news cycle because he can't hide and the distraction is very real.

I don't know that Jimbo has burned the bridge to stay at FSU but it is definitely smoking. There are only so many times you can play the game he is playing before you hack off the folks you work for. If he stays now he will have even more pressure to produce and he will have to deal with negative recruiting that he is going to leave.

That can still be overcome but it has to be more and more tempting to come to A&M with a fresh slate, a big raise, all the resources he has wanted plus the promise of whatever else he can dream up in the future. A&M also has a solid talent base on campus and very fertile recruiting, helped by the way Herman is off to a very rough start in Austin and has already worn out his honeymoon.

I also think his "Saban complex" is real. He wants to go to a 2nd school and win a Natty and A&M will give him every opportunity to do so and he gets to play Saban every year. Jimbo is an extremely competitive guy.

Much of that was in place at LSU last year as well though so it isn't done until it's done.

Well there are Aggies that would rather have Chad Morris as well. Let's just say both are extreme minority opinions.

Heard from a big aggie booster from Houston that Jimbo turned down LSU last year waiting on A$M to open up. He said this deal was done last year.
Anyone else heard that?

Why would you want him? If he was at AU and pulled this every off season, I would tell him to bounce.

Jimbo was leaving for LSU at the end of 2015. We just fricked it up (Louisiana politics, folks).
