Why would he come out of retirement to coach the Raiders? He already worked one miracle by turning around the Seahawks. Unless Mark Davis is going to step back and let Brady run the franchise why would anyone go to that dumpster fire organization?

He was very clear he wanted to coach again and it was probably this year or never at this point. Raiders were likely his only option.

I'm coming around to it. This organization needs a complete change. Let Pete build a good solid foundation for a couple of years and then let him retire and bring someone to take over
