It's on the ESPN ticker that Aranda is expected to sign with atm to be the defensive coordinator. Being reported by the Houston Chronical.

He looks like a Christian rock band hobbit

Memphis, we already have a defensive line coach. Johnson was promoted to that spot. He's not longer a linebacker coach.

Liucci looks like he would be from the Lafayette area.

quote:thanks captain obvious, but if Aranda is wanting to leave for AM regardless of what LSU offers and AM knows it wont offer more than X theres no reason they wouldnt have already agreed to a deal in principal.
Contracts are verbally negotiated before one is ever printed out.

Old news. They’ve been reporting that for a a couple of hours.

2.7 for a coordinator. My god just make him the head coach if he’s that important
Or let him walk. He's not Jesus.
He's good, but he's not going to save the program. Make him head coach if you must (and only the early successes of Lincoln Riley and Kirby Smart make me think Aranda might succeed as a first-time head coach). But to give him that much money to stay and keep Orgeron in charge is throwing good money after bad.

According to unnamed sources printed in an LSU area paper, he said no once.

We paid less for 0 to pay coordinators more. That was part of the sell. Paying Aranda more is part of what we were all sold on...

If he comes to A&M for less money than LSU offers HOLY shite

Posted on 1/3/18 at 8:06 pm to webisod
I don’t understand why you guys keep throwing out the staff shite, and then claim he’s going to bring Corey Raymond with him. So, you’re telling us he’s pissed at the DL hire or wants to hire his DL coach or LB coach. Make up yalls fricking mind.

I'm hearing the A&M offer is in the low 2 million range

And he’s going to kill it and he can recruit very well. Stop bitching about meatball the dude is legit.

And you got 9-4 in a very weak SEC and Orgeron meddling in the offense for your money this year, not to mention a recruiting class that lacks a quarterback and possibly a top-end running back. Year 1 is done, and you're already replacing at least one coordinator.
Seems dysfunctional to me and provides no faith Orgeron is the guy. So, again, let Aranda walk or make him head coach, but nothing in between. You've seen the best of the Orgeron era already. And if Aranda goes, it's time to rattle cages to get Alexander, Alleva and Orgeron all swept out.
