It is easy right now for LSU fans to sit on their high horses and pontificate about how they would not want Meyer while we are dealing in a world of hypotheticals. But those same fans would be LYING if they said they would turn donwn the probability of multiple playoff appearances and at least one national championship, even if the coach ultimately left after 6 years or so.
Based SOLELY on what is known of him publicly I don't particular like Urban Meyer. But I'm also not interested in the coaching search because I'm hoping LSU will hire my new best friend. I'm hoping they will hire the coach best suited to produce the best results. And based upon recent past history NO ONE (other than Saban...and maybe Dabo) has a college resume that matches Meyer's

At his age & point of his career, do you honestly think he wants to get thrown against the heavy weights of the SEC West,& then have to beat a surging UGA team in Atlanta to get to the playoffs? Every year?
