I think Bo may get an interview. He and O talked some this year. He isn’t all that happy at Youngstown and is only making around 220 K per year. The negotiations for his last contract extension went down to the wire.

Why some of you want Pelini is incredible. He alienated the majority of Nebraska fans with his childish in game temper tantrums and psycho personality. The guy is a ticking time bomb ready to explode. I wouldn’t want this clown near our team with his divisiveness and holier than thou demeanor.

I never said I wanted Pelini just said I though he would get an interview. We had top 3 defense in the Nation every year he was DC. He might be a shitty HC but guy can coach defense.

No fan one way or another about him as a DC but he's in my HOF, coaches celebrating catagory, when I saw him dancing on a table top at POB's, 3:30 a.m. post game after LSU won it all in his last year.

Like Frank, Corey will have to leave and prove himself beyond being a position coach somewhere else before he can come back and take a bigger position here. That’s just too big of a risk and we saw with Malvetto just how badly that can turn out.
Those two clowns were just Miles’ boys. They weren’t LSU alums. Can you imagine having to fire or demote Raymond if he tanks with him being an alum and having coached here all this time? It would be a disaster and it would be ugly. There’s absolutely no reason to risk that.
If Raymond wants to be a DC long term, then the best course of action is for O to help him land a solid G5 job so he can prove himself and put a good system together.

I think whether he’s still relevant is a good question. I think it’s also relevant for Chizik to a degree, but he’s at least coached defense against some modern spread offenses at UNC. Pelini’s biggest struggles at LSU were vs spread teams with mobile QBs. Remember UK and Arkansas? Guess what every team in The FBS is doing today? I don’t think he’s cut out for today’s game.

Well he constructed those Ds around what was most commonly ran back then, doesn’t necessarily mean he can’t coach against it

Legion of BOOM biches. Interest between KR and LSU is mutual. Not a done deal and Pelini will have Coach O’s ear if he asks for the job. So it’s KR, unless Pelini wants it. Source is a pay site.
