Would Leach need an "heir apparent" agreement to come to LSU ??
Would be a Bad Idea, since things change a lot over time....

Why the hell would Les agree to that?

I do NOT think Les should offer it to Leach...
...but Les needs to be ready for Leach to ask for it..
Les should just say he wants to be HC for another 15 years or so...

Do LSU fans really want Leach as their OC?

Regardless of what you think of Leach as a potential head coach here (and from my point of view, it isn't much), if Les is commited to a long-term tenure at LSU he would be foolish to bring in a guy like Leach. If he isn't, I think he's comfortable enough with himself and honest enough with others to just say so and do something about it sooner rather than later.

Why?! So he can take his genius offensive mind and get beat by a middle of the road SECw team? Did you watch his red raiders a few years ago get handled by ole miss?

just let him run the offense! he would be a GREAT OC! IMO

I think all this speculating about Leach even seriously entertaining the LSU OC job is ridiculous. I just believe strongly that he would only consider head coaching positions and he may not even want to return to coaching for another year.

Leach doesn't fit in at major college football program. He doesn't know how to kiss arse.

The Leach spread offense would destroy the rest of the SEC. Why not? As far as HC in waiting, no way.
