If he can get it then it's good move on his part..and Georgia seems like they want him.. Two solid years and he will be dialing up a nice head coaching job

This is the Nick Saban standard technique to get a raise from your existing school. Saban mastered this technique while at LSU. Saban will eventually get Bama to pay him 7 million per year. That seems to be the new standard in the NFL.

No. Foster and Chavis are the only people we were serious with. Foster for sure had an offer. I don't know if Chavis had an offer on the table or not, but we did pursue him. The people who think we've gone after all these guys and kept getting turned down are misinformed.

Food for thought: Richt fired his DC and Ga.'s defense was ranked much higher nationally than LSU's offense and Miles is keeping his OC.Fire at will.
