Stop.

He still doesn't think he did anything wrong. "If I had one more second, things would be different".

Nuts.

That's Okay man, as Miles' made LSU suffer for years with his offensive ineptitude.

He's done.
Phil Fulmered into oblivion.

While his massive ego may take a hit, he can comfort himself in a big pile of cash.
On the other hand, his ego may not be bothered. I think he has always lived in his own world.

Dude got to coach in elite college football, won a national championship (with two losses), made tens of millions during his career with a phat buyout, was trusted to run the program his way and was given all the tools to do so, and he got to run out of the tunnel at LSU.

Sorry. He's one of the most fortunate people in the world professionally.

Someone who wants to stabilize their program and set it up for the future should take a hard look at Miles.

He doesnt have a ton of years left coaching but he can teach a small school what it takes to take the next step. Where to invest.

Nah, he'll get the Western Michigan job after Fleck leaves. Finish out his career there.

i dont. the guy had years of evidence showing his offense wasnt working, he had every possible opportunity to fix it, and he did absolutely nothing.

even at the end of last season, after being gifted a miracle final chance, he still wouldn't even acknowledge that there was a problem, saying the engine was fine and just needed a few tweaks.

the result of those tweaks was a top 5 team going 2-2. frick him.

Then you come out and its the same dog shite, which shouldn't have been a shocker considering he kept cam.

I crystal-balled him and Cam to South Dakota A&M months ago. No ESPN up there, so they missed his frickups while on the bayou.

Purdue was the perfect fit for Miles. Low expectations. His antiquated Schembecker Big 10 conservative offense works in that cold snow and ice weather. He could continue to recruit Louisiana, Texas,Florida, Georgia in addition to the Midwest. Win 8-10 games a year and the natives are happy and content. Perfect fit.

I think he would do great on ESPN Gameday.

why do people keep saying this?

Yes, Les was a quote machine here with his quirkiness. But it got old once we figured out that the man has trouble articulating clear thoughts.

It would be fresh and entertaining on TV for a few weeks -- then it would get old real fast.

You think Miles could win 8-10 games a year at PURDUE???? No chance.

Yes I so. And I am not a Miles fan. His recruiting would put them in position to win consistently 8 games a year and up to 10 games a year every few years or so.
