The fear is always losing recruits at the last minute, but a homerun hire only helps recruiting.
Either Briles or Freeze would be homerun hires - 2 of the very, very short list of OC candidates about whom this can be said.

He’s the OC I want without a doubt. QBs have a lot of success and they still run the ball very successfully. Probably a pipe dream
