Which is a shame, because he is actually a very doable possibility. This should not even have to be a pipe dream.
He's right there for the taking.
He is by far the best fit for LSU IMO.
He's my clear cut #1.
I believe he's like top 3-5 in TDs all season.

All of that's correct, but there's been zero indication that O even wants to hire a new OC, much less one that he hasn't previously worked with.

Anyone done a true analysis of how he compares to his dad? Like is he riding his coat tails like sumlin did OR is he a better football mind than his dad?
If the latter than throw the bank at him, but if not then let him sit somewhere for a bit to show he's true worth.

This truly makes me sad. Even Saban who wants things His way broke down and got OCs that may not have fit his philosophy or personality.
Comfort and safe hires will be O's undoing in the end. Les proved that with Cam.

The problem wasn't who the OC was with Les, the problem was no matter who the OC was they always had to play the Miles brand of football.
There were quotes from Gundy years back where Les was making them draw up plays that consisted of 2 TE and a FB regardless of Gundy and Mallory (Co-OCs at Okla st. At the time) suggesting a spread might work better.
