Kelly also probably went about it the right way. Not pulling them during a playoff run w/o permission

Everyone and their mother knew Orgeron wasn’t gonna last much longer. It’s why every great coordinator turned him down

Feels good to have an elite coach running things again.

I don’t even worry about who he’s gonna hire. Just excited for the future of the program and trust the head coach for the first time since 2004

He's a NFL position coach that got offered a 7-figure coordinator position at LSU. I wouldn't necessarily call that a "pull".

Well he left college for the NFL and he turned down DC jobs at other sec schools prior to lsu landing him so I would say it's a pull

This. Getting him to come back to college after he turned down UT and others previously is solid work.

Its ok, man. It didn't take a lot... sunshine pumping really isn't my sport. I hope he does well here but im not going to act like this was some Homerun/"cant miss" type of coordinator hire.

As a coach what aspects do you dislike about him? Not sure why you're acting like this wasn't a great hire.

Damn I love shite on Orgeron posts, don't you?

No matter what happens any where or to anybody some one will find a way to turn it into a shite on Orgeron post.

That's real creativity baws.

No kidding. It’s rather pleasant not having an idiot driving the race car. The last two jokers we had sucked the life out of the program and divided our fanbase. It’s refreshing to have some professionalism at both the HC and AD position instead of being made a mockery on national tv and radio shows. Now we just need to get to winning some games and get some momentum back.

Don’t know if it’s a great hire. Seems to be a knowledgeable and well respected coach. Most people will associate a great hire with a sexy name hire. I would say this seems like a smart hire.

He got offered 2 different 7 figure coordinator jobs from SEC schools (Tennessee & Auburn) last year and turned them down. So it’s not just about the position or the salary, there’s obviously something he likes about Kelly, otherwise he would’ve turned him down too.

I mean a smart hire can be a great hire. Aranda was a smart guy and that was a great hire. Not sure I get your point.
