You mean an FSU alum, thinks his school is a better job. Wow, say it so.

"Better job" is subjective. Both are great jobs.

All I see is two pretty close programs

well sure

The main difference is LSU can pay assistants more money

LSU has the #1 Stadium/game day environment...in most polls, I understand it's debatable.

only flagship school in state

Most players in NFL say something to the "Stars" comparison doesn't it?

LSU plays Alabama, Auburn, UF, OLE Miss every year...

Arkansas is decent, A$M on the rise again this year.

FSU plays Clemson every year, that's the best comparison to 4 games LSU plays every year

FSU plays Miami which used to be a flagship game, it's just sucks now

Miami has no stadium no fan support...unless they are winning titles, same issue with USC

LSU is better job in terms of "it's better TV" because they play in the SEC.

ACC is awful to watch...no one really cares and I live in the ACC

This alone makes the FSU job not as appealing...at least in terms of fan perception...

The state of Florida has five 5-stars and forty-one 4-stars.

How many of those went to LSU, Bama, Georgia, Clemson? LSU does a really good job of keeping talent in the state. Bama is reallythe only school that comes in and challenges for Louisiana recruits. Every school in America recruits FL hard trying to build a pipeline. Hell, hasn't Petrino also done pretty well in FL?

It's just 1 year, but this past class FSU got more 4 & 5 star recruits than uf and um combined.

would think recruiting in state head-to-head vs. Miami and UF alone would make it at least slightly less appealing? Though numbers wise Fla produces a ton of talent.

Florida has 4x the amount of players drafted than Louisiana. If the 3 big teams split those guys equally, they still have more NFL talent than anyone in the country.

I'm sure it's already been said but LSU has way more cash than FSU. When is the last time LSU lost an assistant coach that the HC wanted to keep?
