#1 kanell...no surprise I know.
But I can't name 1 reason he could use to justify that...which he didn't
Can anybody name 1? Easier path isn't a "pro"

Is it an easier path? LSU has Saban who is probably retiring soon. FSU has Dabo, Petrino, up and coming Fedora, and Richt.

what do you want him to say

It's really not that hard to believe

He is trying like hell not to lose Jimbo. That's his school after all

FSU and LSU are in the same grouping and any one year one might be a/b and next year b/a

Yeah, Saban is the only decent coach in the SEC, forgot my bad. Cmon man lol

I would think recruiting in state head-to-head vs. Miami and UF alone would make it at least slightly less appealing? Though numbers wise Fla produces a ton of talent.

Petrino has won one big game his whole life. Let's see how that continues.
Richt never won a conference championship.
Fedora doesn't belong in this conversation.

Yet nobody has given a reason. Same level? Ok. FSU >? GTFO

Kanell is the new Bayless/Cowherd for ESPN.

There isn't much of a difference between the 2

I prolly shoulda addressed that in the OP

Well Jeremy Pruitt coaches where now? It wasn't so great a job when they were trying to retain him.

There is in recruiting competition. But FL has so many recruits, that advantage may be negated

And you'll never know what you may get out of Babers and Fuente.

Yeah.... I think the numbers in Florida even that out

I just don't see how anyone can definitively say that when you have examples of them losing assistants, e.g. Pruitt who left after a national championship year for a raise from 600k to 800k from Georgia. Then you have LSU who goes and commits to Aranda a $1.3 million deal after the most tumultuous end to an LSU season since 1999. The recruiting base is at least on par with FSU and conference prestige is higher.
