A friend of mine has a text message from a former offensive staff member, still closely associated with the university/program that states this. It is supposedly a short-term transition-type deal where he comes in as head coach for 2 years, then hands it off to his successor: someone he is supposed to bring with him. (no clue whom that successor is). At that point, NS will step into a mentor type roll.
I still have a hard time believing that he will coach again. So I’m taking this information with a grain of salt.
