Hey, that's who I want now. Apparently SW doesn't. Who knows anymore? Apparently we're not allowed to have a great HC here.

It’s probably harder than you think

He’s currently 10-2 and potentially has contractual language barring him from leaving for an SEC job

How do you know how hard it is to hire a college football HC? You people read a lot of fairytale books.

Anyone have any details on Kiffen's contract? Is he even an option? We aren't buying out another $20 million.

Ole Miss is lucky if Lane is coaching there in 2023.

LSU didn't hire Spurrier when they had the chance and languished while Florida flourished.

This could be the same type of mistake.

I'll bet Kiffin goes to Florida and you all get Napier

My guess Kiffin wanted to stay awhile at Ole Miss, but he didn't realize Florida could open up so quick

He would love to own Tennessee for the next ten years

Florida passing on Kiffin for Napier would be one of the most hilarious things in CCB history.

I mean at least he has the LA connection to prop up his JV resume for LSU.

Florida bringing him in is proof that this board is the tail that wags the dog

Kiffin’s buyout if he goes to another SEC school is between 18-20 million dollars. On top of that it’s rumored his new contract will be $8 million a year plus huge pay increases for his assistants. We also have $400 million in facility upgrades coming.

So if Florida or LSU wants him, they will have to pay some serious coin.

Kiffin is another clown like Miles and Orgeron. No thanks. He might know his X’s and O’s Better than the other two clowns, but there’s nothing about Kiffin that shows he’s stable.

LSU needs a functioning grown-up at the controls of the football program. It’s time for it.

In the last 14 years, Kiffin has been the head coach at five different stops, and acted like a 15 year old most of that time.

Great offense. But he’s a flake. Pass.

Riley would have been the biggest HC pull in the history of cf imo. Everyone needs to stop melting and relax. Jimbo was an anomaly.

Besides the fact that Miles and Oregeron couldn't get hired as a coordinator at a G5 school while Kiffin is one of the best offensive minds in college football that just took Ole Miss to their best season in 30 years.

Wrong. A completely subjective take. Outside of Tennessee he's had a completely normal coaching career compared to other coaches moving up the ranks.
