Jorge Munoz is a free agent. He is out at Baylor along with Fedora.

Source confirms that Larry Fedora is no longer the OC at Baylor. Also, source tells Yahoo that Baylor pass game coordinator Jorge Munoz is no longer on staff.

This board said he was the easy pick as heir to Brady because Burrow said nice things about him and they read puff pieces about him.

Could it be possible they’re doing the same thing for Calloway ?

“While we’re game-planning on Monday and Tuesday and setting up our first- and second-down game plan, Jorge is kind of setting up our blitz package on first and second down that we can send to Joe (Burrow),” Ensminger said. “On Tuesday, he’ll put together our third-down blitz package to present to Joe. The stuff he stays ahead of for me and Brady is outstanding.”

“He’s the MVP in my room,” Ensminger said of Munoz.

Burrow added on to the praise.

“He’s meant so much to me,” Burrow said. “He helps me get those third-down blitzes picked up every week. So many teams have super-exotic packages, and he narrows it down to one, two, three things that my eyes have to look at so I can get these blitzes picked up. That’s a big reason why we’re one of the top third-down teams in the country.”

I remember when Fedora was mentioned as a replacement for Les Miles at LSU.

I would have rather had Munoz as our PGC over Scott Linehan. Fedora may well have been the problem at Baylor, as he pretty much cratered the UNC football program before he got canned as head coach.

So was Justin Fuente. Both have trended downward very quickly since then.

And fricking sucked at it for the last several years. If he had the role we have been lead to believe, then he most definitely sucked arse here. I’m not saying Munoz is the next big thing, but PGC is a pretty safe on-field position to promote an analyst you think a lot of to. I highly doubt he could have been worse than Linehan here.

Munoz was an actual oc and sucked too

Id rather an oc who had some success and some failure in the nfl over munoz who just sucked

The guy just got fired. If he is so great and aranda just watched what he did with the greatest offense, then why would he fire him?

Munoz is not a passing game coordinator at lsu. He just isn't

If you are talking about Baylor, he wasn’t the OC. He was the PGC and WR coach under Larry Fedora. Fedora has sucked for a few years now and was a terrible hire there.

I’m not saying we should hire Munoz as PGC now. Maybe as an analyst again if he doesn’t land a better gig. I just think the Linehan hire was a fricking joke and I can’t believe you would waste time shilling for him.

Linehan was a dog shite hire, no one is defending him

I’m apprehensive on turning it over to Calloway just because Ponamsky got some nice articles written about him
