Yea I don’t think it’s as simple as Callaway and Munoz and you’re good

Callaway needs to at least be promoted to PGC. His work with three different QBs and their progression this season alone justifies that. Or just call him the QB coach. Considering what an issue that has been over the last decade, keeping a guy who we know is having a positive impact there is completely justified.

This board's fascination with Jorge Munoz is hilarious. Dude was an absolutely terrible OC.

It's just some hive mind crap. Someone started it an a bunch of people jumped on the bandwagon. I don't get the love either.

TBH, most people would be happy to have him back as an analyst. No one seriously wants as OC.

Kudos from Joe go a long way. I just said he was better than Scott Linehan, but that’s literally saying almost nothing. If he gets re-hired here, it should be to his old job as an analyst. Nothing more.

How much can you attribute to Callaway ? Based on your criteria we should have kept Scott for his work with the QBs

Myles and Max both talked about how much Callaway helped them spot issues and improve this season. I saw more in-season progression from QBs this year than any time over the last decade, so that’s definitely something.

I don’t recall a lot of player press clippings having anything to do with Linehan this season and we know he sucked in his primary role, so why would I believe he’s the one making the impact with them?

Burrow said nice things about Munoz helping him...people say nice things when they’re asked in a puff piece about the subject

“Hey max we’re doing an article on Coach Calloway, what do you think of him”

“Dude sucks, does nothing”

I’d take him back in his old analyst role or just as an offensive analyst in general

No fanbase loves to shite on its own more than ours. The comments I’m talking about weren’t for articles about Russ Callaway. They were just answers to media questions or mentions in articles covering games.

Well this is the first time you haven't called him Callahan in about your last 10 tries so I think I'm finally sold.

Silly because I take the propaganda pieces with a grain of salt and would prefer some with more of a resume ?

Some threads on the Baylor 247 boards say he was a very lazy coach. That’s why Aranda showed him the door.
