I actually heard someone suggesting the Saints are considering him to come coach Derek Carr, maybe not officially as QB coach, or maybe.

He’s already a consultant with the saints.
Possibly “head coach in waiting” for the saints.
Gruden ain’t messing with college football. Nowadays it’s easier to coach those 50 plus mini corporations (as Saban once called them) vs having to deal with the nil and yearly portal fiasco as well as the greedy handlers some of those college athletes have.
At least with the nfl most contracts are binding and have to be fulfilled one way or the other by either side.
That nil crap is just a free for all for the highest bidder and kids egos and self entitlement.
