If dale and collis are still pulling the strings then why the hell do we need an AD.

Alleva is an incompetent AD and needs to go himself. We need to replace Alleva first and then JJ. Don't trust the dumb Alleva to make another hire.

I also doubt what the OP alleges.

My preference would be for a new Athletic Director to be named, but realistically, that will not happen.

Jones needs to go after this season, and at least LSU should learn that former players and coaches are not the ones that should be deciding who will be the next head coach. Their track record has not been very good.

Jones promises that if they keep him, he has a handshake deal to bring in Lane Kiffin.

In the last two years, Miller is believed to have turned down Rutgers, Pitt, Florida and UNLV. Unless something unexpected has happened in his life, there is no reason to believe he would even interview with LSU.

If he turned down Florida, to me that means he wants to be at a basketball first school.

The rest of those mentioned either have shite show athletic departments or constant flux in their athletic departments. So, basically, LSU fits right in with all of them as far having plenty of reasons not to take the job there.

You don't think Pitt is a better job than LSU right now? I agree with you on the other two, but Pitt has an arena less than 15 years old with luxury boxes and full amenities, best conference affiliation in college hoops, and they were paying Dixon 3.25 per year.

We're in the realm, but Pitt's gotta be a better gig right now I'd think.

Would be incredible, but the admins will have to make a serious commitment to a candidate like that. More money for ops and recruiting and assistant pool
