Damn, coming quick, good for him, I hope he gets whatever job he wants. I think he will interview extremely well.

That’s wild. He had one very successful year in college and kinda a meh year calling plays in the nfl. I know he was handicapped with injuries but that just seems like an extremely small sample size to judge someone before handing over the keys to a NFL franchise

I think a lot of it is organizations wanting to see just how sharp these guys are. Hiring them more foe their innovation and vision than what they were able to do with Teddy Bridgewater who I think most agree is middle of the pack at best in the nfl.

Completely agree that JB’s meteoric ascent is wild (astonishing really).

Not trying to bash JB (I’m forever grateful for 2019), but I don’t feel he is ready for a HC at all. I mean, dam, he’s barely been an OC for a year and it’s not like that Carolina offense set the world on fire. I would think a few more years as an OC would serve him well and allow him to mature as a coach (& a person), then take on a HC position.

Y’all think that’s an unreasonable take or agree??

I was trying to find stats to support an argument that Joe Brady made a positive impact at Carolina but it’s not there yet. Panthers went from 20th (2019) to 24th ranked offense (2020) per PFF.
He’ll be a good HC eventually but yeah maybe the hype is a little too high among LSU fans (I am I that group)

He got 4 Average Panther Skill players 1,000 scrimmage yards. That’s an amazing feat in of itself

The allure of being able to control your own offense and call plays may mean the LSU job could be more valuable to Peetz. Atleast for a season or two
No buyout if the team goes 15-0. Call it the Joe Brady clause.

Carolina's offense was not very good this year and I'm kinda surprised his name has gotten this hot this fast.

Mainly because we had a chickenshit noodle arm tard at QB, but yeah the offense wasn’t elite by any means.

Well DAMN. That escalated quickly.

Good for him. Now let it be a lesson for all up & comers and provide some positive light on LSU positions.

Hope he gets the job with the Falcons. He's a whole lot of nothing who isn't prepared to be a HC. Bienemey should take the Chargers job. Their QB would thrive in his offense.

Not really sure why people on this board continue to think Joe Brady did a bad job this year. Carolina was very competitive for the most part without very good QB play, bad o line play, and missing their best offensive player for most of the season. He knows how to call an offensive game. Even the last game against the saints he had receivers consistently running wide open. QBs just threw it to the saints. Bridgewater looked much better with Carolina than he did in relief of Brees last season.

As far as Sean McVay, if you don’t think that guy is a good coach, you are an idiot. All of Goff’s success is due to McVay’s offensive schemes. He is a damn good coach.

The truly intelligent people on this board know #hecomin.

I mean if you break it down he could
A) achieve his goal of becoming an NFL HC.

OOORRRR....

B) he could come back to where it all started and take back basically the same job he left behind.

While it's not impossible for JB to be a HC, not likely at this time. It's great that he's getting some feelers from teams though. Best of luck to him.

It’s the only logical destination for this reason. Herbert would be great for him.

If you wanted Brady, you needed to offer him the HC job.

I don't think he's going to get a job this year in the NFL, but getting interviews is a very good sign it's coming eventually.

He was like 43. Brady is 31.

Owners and GMs are going to rightfully be skeptical of whether he's ready.

I still think Doug Pederson from high school to superbowl winner in 8(?) years is the most impressive.

Too bad the bengals won’t reunite Brady and burrow. So unfair. They could get joe Brady and then draft jmarr chase. Instead they’ll end up firing Zach Taylor in a year or two.
