Burrow and all the studs on that 19 team made Brady and a lot people rich. Brady would have been average at best with this 21 team. The play calling he did at Carolina was atrocious. Don't think there's any way Kelly hires him and goes for more proven OC.

The play calling was great on both teams. At LSU he was able to cloak our average to poor OLine play through creative situational play calling. At Carolina he and Rhule had them rolling through the first 6 games until injuries and Darnold derailed them. Joe Brady made Darnold look like a world beater until defensive started pressuring his arse nice they became one dimensional to the pass.

Having said that, yes I think Brady was out of his league in the NFL. But in college? Hell no!

Basically that’s my only concern. We have Kelly, who isn’t known to be a big recruiter, and the idea of adding an offensive coordinator with the same reputation makes me hesitant.

That’s a lie. There’s a huge difference in liking recruiting and not recruiting. Brady didn’t like it but don’t forget he had Caleb Williams ready to commit

So you thought he was the #1 pick before the 2019 season?

Sounds like ownershipwas sceptical of brady from the start.

His lack of getting "a spark" in the qb room was a problem according to some writer.

I'd bring him back in a heartbeat.

He would be co-oc/passing game coordinator.

Let him handle receivers and the passing game.

Maybe he is more suited for the college game. I’m sure that pains him.

I'm sure it does. Pained Saban, too.

They traded away Teddy so they could play Sam Darnold then brought in broken down Cam

This board has said for years that Brady hates recruiting.

Why would we want an OC that isn't going to kill it on the recruiting trail?

Have we ever had that? Aranda wasn't known for recruiting either.

That’s why this is weird

Panthers are on day 7 of a 14 day break in between games.

Why today is the question

I knew that was going to happen. Burrow and the skill talent made him look way better than he was. He taught the WRs a lot and helped Burrow, but he left too early. He was too green.

I saw elite talent and moxy. I literally dropped a Tom Brady comparison in a debate w an Auburn fan before season started going into 2019.
