I was in the student section in 2007 and when the cheer would start I’d fold my arms and not sing cause I wasn’t comfortable being associated with it. The worse part would be when the people who antagonized me for not singing.

When you start being frustrated/offended cause you can’t control what other fans think. That’s just plain dumb. I’d recommend not giving other people that much control over how you feel...

So having the best single season ever was entirely in the coaches and players control. Our opponents rankings, lack of major injuries, and random ball bounces had nothing to do with it.
