Depends on if our first 1-2 choices decline.

Jimbo wouldn't downgrade and leave A&M for LSU.

LSU is not a downgrade from A&M. It's not an upgrade either. They are true lateral positions.

How in the world is A&M on the same level as LSU. Have you watched football the last 21 years?

Nope. Wouldn't be bad at all. Relative to what they'd be paying him though, the hire wouldn't be sexy and extremely boring. It wouldn't do anything for me. He'd give you consistency of 9 wins a year maybe. Unsure how much longer he'll be coaching too as he's approaching mid 50s and he needs an updated offensive philosophy.

He's not a homerun hire that's for sure but he'd keep the program consistently winning but I'm not sure he'd ever be winning enough over the hump. We make jokes about the 2 idiots before him but let's be honest, nobody will ever get as lucky as Orgeron did again. For the money he'd be commanding I'd rather swing for the fences and if we're going that hard, it needs to be a younger coach we know will be here 10 years unless NFL comes calling early. I want young energy innovative mind in our program.

Jimbo can suck a dick, he could be the coach here already but he and sexton got greedy knowing they had Joe by the balls

Yes he’s got a NC on the resume but hasn’t had a relevant team since

A&M has 1 decent season so far under Jimbo. Last year and it was a down year for SEC. Even with Manziel they vastly underachieved. Once Texas moves back into SEC A&M will be lil bro irrelevant again. More than they are now. He may see that and want to jump ship. A lot easier to recruit your borders away from Ole Miss/Texas schools than to share the same borders and fertile recruiting grounds with Texas.

The only way Scott hires Jimbo Fisher is because he misses Les Miles and wants Fisher's lame antiquated offense boring LSU fans from here to eternity.
