You are welcome to your opinion. But Saturday was as much on execution as anything else. Offensively we doubled them in yardage. And 98 of their 233 was on one play where Jackson missed a tackle. Please watch the last four plays of the game. On first down Guice scores if he isn't tripped in the hole on his own mans leg. On fourth down he went the wrong way.
The defense was great again. We just left too many points on the field. O may not be the best but if Jimbo isn't available I would prefer him to any other candidate.

The offensive game plan was putrid, DL getting smoked all day, O allowed the players to get too emotional in pre game, played fournette when he was clearly injured and not making cuts
O didn't manage that game very well. Part of being an elite HC in the SEC is overcoming turnovers, period

Pay him. From a fan's perspective (not our money) the big price tag is good because it will mean increased expectations of an NC. O is out now, and if we don't pay we will end up with Fedora. What is the real difference between $6.75M and $7M? Plus, like somebody else said, we can save on an OC, QB coach, and a RC, because Jimbo can do all 3 (unless O stays as RC, and I hope he does).
