It never made sense that he was "in" the hunt at all.

The truth is out there baws. I've never claimed sources. But if you sleuth my post history with some of the things I posted before they happen you'll see most of the information is solid.

Many people here could make that same claim.

Would much rather have Aranda over Jimbo.

I'm good.

But is he no longer volunteering to be the go-to smokescreen?

All of this is a smokescreen to cover another smokescreen that is a smokescreen for the original smokescreen.

That makes sense.

And that's a smokescreen, also.

I’m not saying you are wrong, but it seems like you are all over the place in your post history.

That's because all of our people were literally waiting on Freeman to send back the signed terms sheet. Which he took to Notre Dame and got paid.

EVERYONE thought Freeman was a done deal because he asked for a terms sheet to sign.

I can't explain why some of these sources are wrong. Recruiting can be a shite show because you're dealing with high school kids and boosters throwing cash.

Coaching changes can be fluid because negotiations are fluid. Agents being agents, etc.

I don't claim be a TBL or Voltiger. I'm getting good info that is probably 3rd or 4th hand by the time it gets to me. So I'm going to be wrong about some stuff. However its often right. There's also multiple sources this stuff comes from, some of which are more reliable. Some which have sources that are keyed into different circles at LSU so things are pretty murky at times.

It's not like Woodward used his time machine and is playing 4D like he's a puppet master. This type of crap is fluid by nature and anyone telling you Woodward has had one guy for over a year is wrong. Woodward is smarter than that. Everyone keeps screaming Jay Johnson was a secret hire.

No he went down a list and got to his candidate, while creating Bianco smoke in the process because a group of influential people wanted him to have an interview.

The fact that I post shite that can be wrong at times doesn't mean it's all wrong, all the time. It just the nature of things leaking their way to random message board sleuth.

So all you know is Jimbo is out? Your source didn’t say who’s up next?

I appreciate that you aren't claiming direct knowledge or connections, but if these leaks are just leaks from other message boards, paid or not, they are virtually the same as on here.

The thing that stuck out to me in the DC search was being wrong twice in the same search.

I think the story with Arnette was there was huge mutual interest. He came in highly favored to get the job. But the dude completely bombed his interview and was basically not offered the job after he failed a whiteboard session.

So goes the story.

But he was clearly ahead of Jones on the candidate list because we brought him in before interviewing Jones.

The Jimbo is out source I posted today is probably the best source. Which goes along with my post history of gonna be jimbo, jimbo, jimbo. Not Jimbo. I'd trust it as much as TBL.

AND to further muddy the waters. Tigerbaitlawyer posted on 24/7 20 minutes ago it's still Riley's job to say no to.
